Our officers dedicate their time and energy into making the VTPVMA club a fun, enriching, and beneficial experience for all!

President
Elizabeth Carter
Elizabeth Carter, or Lizzie, is an animal and poultry science major in her junior year. She love playing all kinds of intramural sports like volleyball, basketball, flag football, kickball and ultimate frisbee. She is involved in FASA and her sorority Chi Omega as well. She is emphasizing in Equine and Companion/Laboratory animals right now but she is also very interested in exotics.

Vice President of Service
Michelle Ashbahian
Michelle is a Junior in APSC with a companion animal emphasis and is from Long Island, NY. She works at a veterinary hospital back at home and is a peer mentor for the APSC first year students. In her free time, Michelle likes reading, listening to music, exploring outdoors, and taking her dog on car rides. Michelle plans to go to vet school to become a small animal veterinarian.

Vice President of Recreation
Roxanne Howard
Roxanne is a Senior in APSC on the Pre-Vet Track, emphasizing in Companion and Lab animals. They work at Emergency Hospital during the overnight emergency hours. In their free time, Roxanne does crafts, reading, and goes to concerts. Their interest in veterinary medicine is mixed practice veterinarian.

Treasurer
Lindsey Billips
Lindsey Billips is a junior in APSC with an equine emphasis. Outside of PVMA, she’s a part of the Equine Reproduction Club, Sigma Alpha, volunteers for the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, and works at the library at VMCVM! Aside from that, she loves to run, go horseback riding, and hang out with friends and family. Lindsey is interested in becoming a mixed animal veterinarian and is especially interested in reproduction!

Secretary
Olivia Basiouny
Olivia is a junior studying Biochemistry and Animal Science with an emphasis in companion animals. She is mainly interested in exotic and zoo animals! Olivia worked at a zoo this summer, and loved spending her day working with multiple species, especially the endangered ones. In her free time Olivia likes to watch movies, sing, bake, or play with her pets; she has 5 ferrets and a cat!

Historian
Avery Stanford
Avery is a Senior in Biological Science with a minor in APSC. She loves working with wildlife and exotic animals, so she plans to pursue being a veterinarian in mixed animal medicine. She's especially interested in orthopedics. Avery enjoys doing any type of art in their free time including crochet, sculpting, painting, and drawing. She also volunteers at the VT horse farms and is a member of the Collegiate Horse Association.

Sergeant at Arms
Katie Sample
Katie is a sophomore majoring in APSC with an interest in small animal medicine, but still very interested in exploring other areas of vet med. Outside of PVMA she works as a lab assistant for Cardiology at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and is an APSC FYE peer mentor. Katie is a cat lady who loves crocheting/crafts, thrifting, lifting and music!

Webmaster
Lauren Pudwill
Lauren is a junior APSC major from New Bern, NC. She is a part of a new Drug Safety Club, as well as the Wildlife Disease Association Club. When she isn't doing school work or club activities, Lauren enjoys reading, writing, and doing fun things with her cats like walks or training! When it comes to veterinary interest, Lauren hopes to pursue theriogenology.
